About this section

This section is intended to provide information for our expecting mothers. We start from how to care for your body once you decide to start trying for a pregnancy, and we will try to explain the crazy within maternity care. The intention is to provide the evidence and aims behind care, interventions and investigations, if the evidence exists. Some of the care provided is based upon agreed intended benfits, rather than solid evidence, we will try to make sure that this is highlighted too.

We invite all specialities involved in maternity care worldwide, to submit information to be presented. All information submitted will be reviewed, references checked, and the level / strength of the evidence behind it will be looked into. The intention is to only present strong evidence where it exists, and to state when the evidence is not as strong. Accepted articles would be presented under the name of the author.

Although the contact details for the author will not be published, we will provide means for a link to give feedback comments and enquiries with the authors. The intention is that only the best of evidence is our target, and no showy headlines that turn out to be untrue.
